4.3 Urgent Action In relation to a new letting, to take a decision which is so urgent that it cannot wait until the next scheduled meeting of the Committee and where the decision is not in contravention of established policies. In following this procedure, the Group Head for Assets is required to seek the approval of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the Business, Infrastructure and Growth Committee if the matter would ordinarily fall within the remit of the Committee or in the case that any aspect of the letting could be considered sensitive. The use of such urgent action must be reported to the next relevant Committee meeting.
